Spain’s Investment appeal grows
Over 6 100 million euros were invested in the Spanish real estate market in the first six months in 2018. It is 5% from the whole European market and that allowed Spain to gain the fifth place among the most popular investment countries. The first four countries included the UK with 34 400 million euros, Germany (24 500 million euros), France (11 900 million euros) and the Netherlands (10 000 million euros). It is worth noting that the UK and Germany, the leaders of this rating, are experiencing a slight decrease of 6% in the size of investments.
The most attractive investment sector in Europe is commercial properties, including offices. Over 41% of investments (52 000 million euros) were done in this sector. The second popular sector included student dormitories, medical centers and nursing homes (21%). Other popular investment options were residential properties (20%) and hotels (7%).
