Marbella is located in the province of Malaga (Andalusia). The population of this resort town is over 140 thousand people. The town is partly located in the foothills of the Sierra Blanca which protects the town from northern winds.

After Prince Alfonso of Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Ricardo Soriano started to buy land in Marbella, they started renovating the village. That gave the start to other rich people.
