Spain beats investment records

It is expected that Spain will reach a new peak in real estate investments in 2018.

The volume of investments at the end of the third quarter reached the level of €13,385 billion. Experts say that this figure is highly likely to increase up to €16 billion by the end of the year.

Spain is the fifth among the most investment attractive countries in Europe.

Real estate investments reached their peak during the period between July and September. During this period, €6.4 billion was invested, which is almost half of the annual volume. In addition, 58% of all investment transactions were made by foreigners.

The most popular investment options include:

• Offices - 28%;
• Hotels - 24%;
• Shopping areas - 23%;
• Logistics - 9%.

The percentage of rental market investments is 13%.
