Newly built housing in Spain: best spots

According to the National Statistics Institute (INE), 62% of newly built housing in Spain sold since 2014 is located in regions of Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, and Andalusia. The percentage of new housing in these regions is one of the highest. Apart from the high level of housing development, they also attract the largest number of property buyers who are looking for newly built options.

Over the last five years, the number of sold newly properties including apartments and houses, reached the level of 479,000 options. This is 21.4% of all property sales in Spain over the last five years. Experts suggest considering the areas like Barcelona, Valencia, Andalusia and Madrid when buying a newly built property.
